Programs and Services

We follow the Manitoba provincial curriculum, ensuring students meet recognized educational standards while also strengthening their cultural knowledge.

Our school is grounded in culture and community. We work closely with local Elders and leaders to bring Cree (Oji-Cree) language and traditions into the classroom. This helps us teach students not just about academic subjects but also about their identity, history, and the land where they live. That sense of cultural grounding helps make school meaningful and connected.

We also offer opportunities for land-based learning, creative growth, and practical life skills alongside academic subjects. Whether it's exploring nature, learning life skills, or working with peers, we aim to prepare students academically, socially, and personally-all while staying rooted in where they come from.

Our programs focus on:

  • Academic excellence in literacy, numeracy, science, and the arts
  • Oji-Cree language instruction across multiple grade levels
  • Land-based learning activities that teach traditional skills and respect for the environment
  • Mentorship and leadership opportunities for youth

With support from Manitoba First Nations SchoolNet (MFNS) and others, we offer resources, cultural programs, and technology to strengthen learning
